personal endeavors
things I'm working on
I am currently working on several projects, with a particular interest in interactive art, education, and community.
-
Altelier is my small business for digital graphic consulting, showcasing and selling interactive art and related products, as well as conducting online classes and workshops.
-
HVREdev,Hands-on Virtual Reality Experience, continues to host experimentation in VR, AR and other alternate reality media. We started with a hand full of members from RunJumpDev.org in 2015, and have run this program since to help people learn how to develop VR. Since inception we have completed three games, and are working on our fourth.
-
Aetheria was my first VR project, derived from two game jams I participated in and an interest in bettering the world through games. Aetheria is an educational meditation game providing a place to learn and practice meditation in a virtual environment.
-
At the Reality Virtually Hackathon 2016, hosted at the MIT Media Lab, I worked on a similar project called MindFlow VR. I am continuing to work with individuals on this project, helping them to continue research related to this project.
-
At the Reality Virtually Hackathon 2017, hosted at the MIT Media Lab, I worked on Cat Match AR, a game to help match "less adoptable" cats with potential owners.
-
Two smaller projects that I have been tinkering with were started as an entry to get into the Alt.Ctrl. GDC Showcase.
-
Immusi is wearable technology using sensors to help users explore an invisible soundscape played from a mobile application.
-
Super Furry Neon Cat Heads (a ridiculous name for a ridiculous game) is played in a furry VR Cat Head, using a sensor filled cat tower as a controller, for a “meow-mixing” rhythm game (actually mixing cat sounds in songs), similar to DJ hero. This is a game showed at alt.ctl.GDC 2017.
