hand created

physically made with my hands, in the real world, weird right

Handmade models are a lost art. Now everything is digital, even the physical models come from files for 3D printers, CNC and laser cutters. Back in my day we walked uphill to class both ways and cut out our models with x-acto knives and box cutters. We used machines, but they had blades and at least one classmate lost a finger due to lack of sleep and high-pressure deadlines in architecture school.  I'm not saying this was better, on the contrary, I'm super jealous I didn't have access to the equipment they have now. The good news is that I have access to it now, and have plans to use it (see my experiments.) For now here's my collection of models, most from college.

Enjoy
